Erna Dry, is a ceramicist and graphic artist.
She closed her commercial ceramic studio after 30 years and is currently devoting all her time to drawing and exploring painting.
She counts herself very fortunate to be living and working in the most beautiful coastal town of Hermanus.
The ocean and surrounding mountains are a constant source of inspiration and whilst not a landscape artist she is greatly influence by nature and the magic of her environment.
Storytelling, mythology, Plants and insects, birds, fish and animals appear frequently in her art which is both realistic and whimsical.
